WORLD FULL OF ANGELS

Yesterday at church we contacted the RS president about getting a ride to the post office about six miles from Steven's house to pick up our forwarded mail. We felt badly asking since it wasn't a request to the doctor, or hospital or something serious. But to us it was important. We have left our bike in Huntsville and Steven and Crystal have one car and they are both at work. She said she'd send out an email with the request. This morning we received three phone calls from sisters asking if they could help! It's a wonderful world and we certainly don't feel abandoned at all.
Theresa Valencio not only took us to the post office, but to Wal-Mart to get a picture CD. We then took her to CiCi's for lunch and really enjoyed visiting with her and getting to know her better. She is such a kind and generous woman and we feel like we have made another new friend.

SIDE NOTE: We had no mail! It seems no one told us that to change our forwarding address we need to first cancel the previous one. Our mail has probably been "looping around" as the postal clerk put it. So, we were given the correct form, we hope, and we'll see how that works. If mail you have sent us has been returned, please don't get discouraged. Either hold on to it or send it out again!

It's nice to know that the world is full of people who are willing to help.
If there is ever a call out in our ward to help two over sixty year-old bikers who are riding cross country and stranded for the day, and need help with errands I'll be the first one to sign up! Fur sur! What goes around, comes around!

Luv u 2!

what an adventure!!!Scott or Kirby sent us your blog address so we could keep track of your adventure and maybe just maybe live vicariously. As i have read i question whether or not i will ever be that brave (or crazy) to try something like that? It sounds like quite an adventure and i can't wait to read more. Here's to you and your adventure. Have a great trip.

Can't wait to hear your next update. Glad you're finding such wonderful people along the route. It's amazing how complete strangers really do care.

Since you and Rusty aren't enjoying your cozy house at the beach Nat, DiDi, Hannah and I have decided to enjoy it for you! We'll be leaving tomorrow for home tomorrow. The brief stay was very much needed. Thanks!

Love, Krista
