April 22 - McKinney TX to Terrell _ 55 miles
We got a grand send off from Cindy and Annelise as we started out on the road again.John and the other kids had already gone. We had such a great R&R with their family and told them it was their turn to come see us at the beach! Earlier John had looked at our schedule for the day and laughed. "I'll be in Terrell in about a half hour....oh sorry". We reminded him that an hour in the car is a day on the bike! We rode thru some beautiful farm country but found that there was no lack of hills, still. It was very humid and we were drippy wet. This is a new element to deal with now that we're heading more east.
