We are just normal folks trying to do what we can to help the kingdom roll forth. We live on the Oregon coast also know as "vacationland". We'll be serving the Lord in South Africa from January, 2010 through June, 2011. Hope you enjoy what we have to say as the journey unfolds.
Nanette called. Jacob is off the respirator, talking and making sense. That's our boy! It feels like the clouds in our hearts have really cleared and there is a gentle breeze of fresh air. We are grateful!
So glad to hear that Jacob is going to pull through. That is every mother's (and father's) worst nightmare. My heart skipped a few beats while I read what happened but I'm rejoicing with you now that I know he's okay. I wish we were getting some of that rain--it's over 100 degrees here. Welcome to summer in Arizona. Hugs to both of you.
That is good news. What a relief. I am always so scared with pools. It is so hot and while I feel like it would be nice to have one, I know I would never relax and be so worried all the time. And Christian is about 80% on his swimming abilities, but it still scares the bejeezies out of me.
