I rode from the campground in Panquitch to Mt. Carmel Junction 53 miles.
The ride in a nutshell: 30 miles with uphill grade and 23 miles down. Strong headwinds making for slow pedaling on a 6% downhill grade with bad shoulder surface. But how can one complain when one has the blessing of being so close to nature, enjoying the sights, sounds and smells and challenging the healthy body one has been given!

Shoes: 1 ( a really nice boot that someone is sure to be feeling bad about losing!)
Camped at Zion's National Park campgound for $8 with the "old person's pass". Hey! We've got them fooled, right?
