My turn to ride today and I was recup'ed and ready to ride! Left the KOA at 7:30 Utah time with 68 degree temp. Rusty stayed to break camp and load up Willie. I decided to ride early and be done early before it got too hot. Even tho I felt better it probably would not have been good judgment to be out in the sun too long today. (Oh, be wise!)
Our destination today was to LaVerkin and I rode the 43 miles in three hours. Beautiful countryside riding mostly on frontage roads thru little farm towns and then for a total of abt 11 miles on I-15 . When I finished the temp was 93 degrees. Time to get off the road.
Tonight we are staying with Paula and Tom Archer, friends from Waldport who moved to Hurricaine Utah about three years ago. We are excited to see them again!
