JULY 4, 2013 "MORE SAGEBRUSH THAN NEVADA" (Millford to Cedar City)

Rusty's turn to ride!  My counsel to him today was "Oh be wise!  What can I say more"

It was 93 degrees when Rusty finished his 27 miles!  As we left Millford they were setting up for their Fourth of July Parade and as we arrived in Minersville they were cleaning up after theirs.  So no Parade for us this Fourth of July.

Rusty describes his ride as "exhilarating"! "Riding down the middle of the road with no traffic either way was part of the charm" He was riding in the middle because it was the smoothest part of the road. He says "the temperature was just right for an Arizona boy"! (he is a man of few words).
It was Rusty's longest ride and he decided he had done  his share of miles for the tour.  However he & Willie continued to be the best ever SAG Team!!

We stayed at Cedar City KOA.  Enjoyed thunderstorms as our Fourth of July fireworks!  The temperature cooled way down to the low 60's.  Just right for an Oregon girl.
