FUEL FOR THE RIDE!
It takes a lot of energy to ride 1,568 miles ! Our lunch nearly every day was a PB & J sandwich and breakfast was oatmeal with canned fruit. And in addition here's some of the food it took to fuel the ride: gallons of orange juice and V-8 juice, 3 boxes of cereal bars, 2 boxes of Nature Valley Trail Bars, 3 boxes of Little Debbie Nutty Bars, an occasional Hostess Snowball or donut, at least 5lb's of M&M peanuts, four jars of PB and three jars of jelly, and Oh yes, Bananas and apples and oranges, Oh My!
