May 2 - Silsbee to Kirbyville - 46 miles
We stopped at a gas station when we arrived in town to find out about a motel. There was only one and it wasn't recommended we stay there. What the man didn't know is that we've had experience with just about everything, including a huge cockroach in p.j.'s, that is not one wearing pj's but in some body's.
The motel was small, cheap, and had an AC unit that sounded like a garbage disposal. But that's what earplugs are for.
