March 23 Safford AZ, 0 miles
We have enjoyed our Easter Sunday in Safford. The ward is full of salt of the earth saints and we enjoyed being a part of their family today. Kreg had to work and will be gone until after our bed time. We hope to see him before we head out in the morning but perhaps not. We have had the house all to ourselves today. We enjoyed a delicious Mexican dish that Kreg had made for us, and sneaked into the freezer for some of their strawberry ice cream for dessert. It has been the perfect rest stop. Our hosts have been very generous!
We didn't have Easter baskets but bought each other a Dove chocolate bar at Wal-Mart yesterday for our Easter treat. Rusty napped and Georgia caught up the blog site.
We have done some more rerouting of our schedule. Won't be doing Needles Eye Pass, duh! Finding another way to get to Silver City. May be riding shorter days and staying in different places. We'll keep you updated.
We are grateful for the greatest gift ever given, the gift of our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ , for his life, his death and his resurrection and the promises of the Atonement.
Happy Easter

Happy Easter to you also! It is wonderful to hear of your travels! Good luck and may your legs be stronger than mine!
