68 miles!
When we were loading up our bikes this morning Rusty asked me to come sit by him on the bed and asked "Are you sure we should do this?" He was feeling some anxiety about riding after my close call yesterday. I was totally calm and at peace and told him we needed to get back on the bikes!
Everything came together today for a great ride! We had flat roads, winds mostly in our favor, overcast skies and we rode like crazy! Today is the beginning of our third week out. We've had 4 rest days (two Sundays and two tourist/rest days) and 11 riding days. We've gotten our groove on and Rusty is riding especially strong!
We were definitely blessed with a great ride today! All is well.
